Amber's Story

Our sweet Amber has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage Four Brain Cancer. Diagnosed Novmber 2, 2011, at 16 years old and is now 18. She continues to fight this hard battle with all her might!!!

Glioblastoma Multiforme is an aggressive tumor in the brain that infiltrates surrounding brain tissue and is the most malignant of brain tumors. Glioblastoma generally has a very poor prognosis, with the average patient surviving just one year after diagnosis.

Amber has had two brain surgeries, radiation, a year of chemotherapy, three strokes and intensive speech, physical, and occupational therapy.
