Mary Amelia's Story
Mary Amelia was born a happy , healthy baby. When she was 9 years old she started having headaches and was not growing. We took her to her pediatrician, who sent her to MUSC for testing. They found a tumor on her pituitary gland that was affecting her eyes and had caused her to stop growing. On September 4, 2014 she had surgery to remove the tumor. A port was put in on September 16th for chemo. That will be followed with radiation. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers.
